I hope you enjoy my video above. If I’m selected as your parliamentary candidate you can expect revamped communications, more local surgeries, local events and of course, my commitment and dedication to representing you in Westminster.

As you can see I have been out numerous times campaigning in Broxbourne, in the recent local elections and before that. Speaking to people on the doorsteps all sorts of things have been raised – from issues with the park and noisy sports pitches to traffic issues, and of course, issues with national politics. I’ve been really impressed with the quality and efforts of the local candidates (who bucked the trend and won or held their seats in May!) and really enjoyed meeting local residents.

When the Foreign Secretary got in touch earlier in the year and asked if there was anything he could do to help, I suggested joining a campaign session in Broxbourne to say thank you to all the hard work local activists.

My wife and I have been regulars in Broxbourne for the last 7 years, getting mince pies at Christmas in Morrisons, jumping on the train into London, running down the tow path, doing watersports at the Lee Valley White Water Centre or going for a drink and dinner in the local pubs. We will move to the constituency from our rented property just up the road in Hertford and fully intend to embed ourselves in the local community, if I am fortunate enough to be selected.

Hopefully you have seen a copy of my CV and so know a bit about me already but if you’d like to know more why not visit other pages on this website or email me at: james@jclark.uk
Many thanks for reading and I look forward to speaking with you soon.
Best wishes, James
